Environmental studies minor:
This minor will provide students the opportunity to explore the interactions between human society and the
natural environment. The goal of this minor is to provide a more holistic view of how policy and actions in
society impact the environment and environmental degradation impacts human quality of life. This minor will
add to student’s marketability by providing the knowledge and skills to address environmental and
sustainability issues affecting society at a local, regional and global scale.
This minor will provide an opportunity for non-science majors to become more familiar with biological aspects
